MRVRGR Law College was established during the year 1986-87 under the Honourable Management of MANSAS Trust. At Present the MANSAS Trust is under the administration of Endowments Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.In the line of academic excellence the students of this college achieved good results at university level and Gold medals and distinctions in various subjects.
MANSAS Trust (MAHARAJAH ALAK NARAYANA SOCIETY OF ARTS & SCIENCE) was established in the year 1958 by Dr. PVG Raju, Rajah Saheb of Vizianagaram for the promotion of education in Vizianagaram. Numerous Landed Property was donated by Rajah Saheb to the MANSAS Trust for the Development of educational institutions.
Dr. P V G Raju, Raja Saheb of Vizianagaram was a renowned statesman. He was an embodiment of righteousness, humanisam and philanthropy. Despite his royal background and his acclamation to be the last crowned prince of Vizianagaram, Raja Saheb attributed meaning to life in the service of humanity taking socialism a beacon of hope and strived until his last breath for the cause of social upbringing.
P Ashok Gajapathi Raju is the younger son of Late Dr. P.V.G. Raju, the generous Founder of the Trust and an exemplary human being whose values and honor his son has imbibed. His intrinsic values of honesty, justice, co-operation & fair play have seen him occupying the important portfolios of Commercial Taxes, Finance, Revenue & Legislative Affairs in the Andhra Pradesh Government.
Dr. K V L Raju is a passionate teacher, committed researcher, successful administrator and an appreciable academician. Best Thesis award from Andhra University was conferred on him for his outstanding thesis work done for the award of his Ph.D. He has been rendering his services as Principal since the inception of MVGR College of Engineering and shaping it to be an evolving center for academic glory. He visited various Industries, Attended conferences in India and Abroad. He regularly interacts with alumni around the world to know about global advancements.
